Annual Fund

Sea Education Association, like most educational institutions, depends upon annual giving to sustain its programs and to provide financial aid to students who otherwise could not participate in SEA Semester. Almost 65 percent of our students depend upon some form of financial assistance. To achieve long-term stability, we must count on an increasing number of loyal donors who give to the Annual Fund each year.

Our fiscal year begins on July 1 of each calendar year and runs until June 30 of the next year.

Instructions for Making Gifts of Securities

For electronic transfers, please contact Kerry Sullivan, or 508-444-1921, for instructions on how your broker/investment advisor should transfer the securities to our custodial bank.

Please let Kerry know the name of the donor and date of gift valuation (date received unless otherwise specified).

Why Give?

Sea Education Association has enjoyed more than four decades of education under sail. From our first program in 1971 aboard Westward to the construction of our campus in 1985, a second ship in 1988 (the Corwith Cramer), and the launch and commissioning of the Robert C. Seamans in 2001, SEA's reputation continues to grow.
