Campus Improvement: Stone Cottage
“What’s old is new again!” That’s according to Sea Education Association Shore Facilities Coordinator Jim Moynihan, who recently oversaw significant renovations to the campus’s Stone Cottage. The granite-walled circa 1889 structure is original to the property and home to SEA’s resident advisor.
The work, funded by donations to SEA’s Launching Leaders comprehensive campaign, took place this past October and November and addressed a leaking roof and skylights, peeling paint, and malfunctioning rain gutter. The contractors were Paul J. Cazeault & Sons Roofing and Stewart Painting.
"The Stone Cottage looks terrific!" said Jim. “The project was on time, on budget, the contractors were great to work with and the workmanship very professional. I'm confident the work will hold up for many years into the SEA’s future."
