A Day Off!

Chase Robinson and Allie Seminer, Agnes Irwin School and Niskayuna High School

SEA Semester

Silver medal whale cupcakes.

Another sleep in felt fantastic, especially starting on a day off. Waking up to the smell of fresh french toast and strawberries was also a HUGE plus. Awake and ready for competition, each house (A,B and C) contributed in a baking contest. House A, making whale shaped Nutella swirl cupcakes, House B making cheesecake, and House C making Banana nut muffins. All would then be presented to our RA's (Resident Advisor) to taste and judge. Though all were almost equally delicious, House B's Cheesecake took the gold while House A took silver and House C took bronze.

After a tasty clean up, everyone separated into groups that either wanted to go to Falmouth, have a scenic bike ride, or go mini golfing. All of each being equally as fun, we staggered back to our home away from home to relax and catch up on our studies. After a BBQ dinner, we left for a sunset swim at around 7:20 at Racing Beach to watch the sky change its colors.

After taking many striking pictures of the beautiful landscape, we returned for a short study hall followed by a well deserved chill-time till lights out. Reminiscing, today was one of the best and we hope there are more to come.

Signing out,
Chase and Allie
