A Day of LASTS

Julia Fernandez and Colette Shaw, De La Salle Santiago Zobel and Las Lomas Walnut Creek

SEA Semester

Above: Morgan Tobias Ava Olivia and Maddie work together. Below: Alex does some deep water fishing.

We started out with our cereal breakfast and got ready (emotionally and physically) for our LAST academic day.

We learned in the morning about deep sea animals and underwater vents all over the world. For oceans and societies and reviewed all we had learned and shared the narratives we had been writing about our place in the ocean history.

During free time today majority of us went to the beach and passed a tiny ball and a football in waves that is higher than Julia's height (4'11).

After an amazing dinner that Ryo helped cook (Thanks Ryo!), we again got emotionally and physically ready for our LAST Leadership, Teamwork and Community meeting and our LAST Exploratory.

Kai and Colette tried to watch a field mouse that wondered into one of our games. During our last exploratory things got ready competitive in Jeopardy. We will miss everything in SEA, and we don't want to leave.
