Souls on Board

Greetings from the SSV Corwith Cramer,

Today begins the sea component of class C-275 in SEA Semester's Ocean Exploration Program. All of our students boarded the Corwith Cramer today at 0800 hours and joined the ship's company as student crew. We will spend the day docked alongside in Woods Hole where the students will receive a full orientation to shipboard life. Tomorrow (10/21/2017), we will complete our safety training and practice emergency drills before departing for the sea.

All hands are looking forward to casting off docklines, raising the sails and beginning our voyage to the Caribbean.

Fair Winds,
