Good evening all!

After leaving the dock, the afternoon progressed nicely from stowing dock lines to retrieving the rescue boat and, after some explaining from many a person in a blue polo, we set the fore and main staysails as we motor-sailed Southeast along Marthas Vineyard. We ate a leisurely meal of spaghetti, garlic bread, mac and cheese and salad and finally anchored for the night in Menemsha Bight off Martha's Vineyard.

As we set the anchor Chief Scientist Chuck told us of this wild land, the same place where some of the scenes of Jaws were filmed. The sunset was a mixture of orange and purple sherbert and as I am typing this, students are settling in for a full nights sleep.

Hi Bristol!

I hope you all are having a wonderful adventure. Grandma Cyn filled me in on the details of the drop off. I was excited to hear you have some Golden State companions.

Looking at the tracker, I am imagining your life out on the sea. So cool.
