SEA Expedition 1

Students currently aboard the SSV Corwith Cramer are enrolled in one of Sea Education Association's high school summer programs, SEA Expedition. SEA Expedition is a field-based program in which students participate in every aspect of an offshore sailing and oceanographic voyage. Guided by professional scientists and crew, students gain hands-on experience, conduct marine science and policy research, operate a tall ship, and develop lifelong leadership and teamwork skills. Scientific voyages focus on one or both of two protected marine environments near Cape Cod: Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary and the Northeast Canyons & Seamounts Marine National Monument.
