Muscongus Bay, Saint George River, Maine - After making our way north to Maine, we anchored at Muscongus Bay Monday evening.   Through the night, we kept short anchor watches, which meant we also were able to catch some extra sleep.  During a rainy Tuesday morning Williams-Mystic F18 students presented posters on the results of our scientific efforts in the main salon.   Then, we moved into marlinspike seamanship classes, during which students worked on knots and knotical puzzles.  As we finished the afternoon field day, the rain stopped and we enjoyed a beautiful final night aboard sharing poetry and song.

It's early Wednesday and nearly everyone is still asleep, but soon the ship will be abuzz, getting ready to get underway for Rockland.  Tonight we will make our way back to Mystic as shipmates, ready for the next adventures of our fall semester.  We are grateful to Captain Chris and the entire ship's crew for a wonderful 10 days aboard the SSV Corwith Cramer.
