Souls on Board

Looking for beaches in Cadiz, Spain, but instead we happened upon a tree.

Isabella, Jamie, Madison, Avery climbed the tree with me.

Like climbing aloft it was old and fun, the tree was pleased to have us five.

We hooted and hollered skipped and ran.

Annoying every local in town.

The tree was bigger than me.

It towered 60 feet tall and 100 wide.

Bearing down on us like the end of my time.

The trip is over, and has come too soon.

Much like my blogs due date that looms and looms.

One day late, never I said, but the tree kept me instead.

Today I write yesterday’s past, like Magellen’s, Daiz’s, and Columbus too!

Except they killed a bunch of people and yesterday was nothing like that.
