Sabrina Schlumberger - Videographer, C-146
Sabrina Schlumberger lives in San Francisco, CA with active canine Iggy Von Baconbitz. A native northern Californian with roots in France, she was introduced to sailing in high school in Santa Barbara, later becoming an alumna of SEA Semester C-146 voyaging to Newfoundland and back. She graduated from Colorado College with a degree in philosophy and art and headed to work on the schooner Ernestina as a sailor, educator, and cook. Eventually returning to land-based life developing content for an internet startup, she studied acting at American Conservatory Theater and has performed in everything from Shakespeare to commercials, improv theater, film and voice over. She transitioned to New York City in 2004 to work on Broadway (upstairs in the production office), and has had every day job known to man: office guru, wine slinger, internet news reporter, movie extra, script slasher, project manager, caterer, clipboard girl, cultural observer, ironist. Finally satisfying her quest for good lighting and snappy story, she studied cinematography and film editing at New York University. She was the assistant director of zombie feature, Aversion, which debuted at the Fangoria Film Festival in summer 2011.
She is currently a freelance videographer, photographer, editor, and ukulele aficionado. Her love of water includes foggy and frozen, involving helmeted propulsion towards snow sport fun. She is delighted to be part of the Plastics at SEA: North Pacific Expedition 2012.Back...
