Cina Loarie - C-157

Cina Loarie currently lives in Beijing, China and works as an analyst in the greentech market sector.  Prior to her time abroad, she worked as a project manager at the California Ocean Protection Council where she developed and managed high-impact projects that coordinated and improved the protection of California’s ocean and coastal marine resources.  Cina received her bachelor’s in biology at Duke University and her master’s degree in marine biodiversity and conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography.  As a student in SEA Semester class C-157, her research project focused on pelagic tar and plastic concentrations in the western North Atlantic.  She later worked as an assistant scientist for SEA.  She is also pretty good with chop sticks.
