SEA's Port Calls
SEA travels to locations that are relatively unseen, untouched, unspoiled. We seek places that cruise ships don't go, visit beyond the resorts. Our vessels visit working ports and remote anchorages.
Students, in relatively small numbers, have the opportunity to visit an area as members of a working crew, and meet the local people as a small group of interested visitors. Many students quickly make friends in the local communities, and have the opportunity to explore on their own.
Frequently, organized tours may help students and crew reach more difficult to reach destinations, or students have the opportunity to explore local markets and discover cultural, especially local musical sites.
In some locations, many years of visits by SEA vessels has resulted in a close friendship with the local community, and the visit of one of our vessels is reason for a soccer game with local students, or a visit to the ship by most of the population of a town.
