I grew up outside of Boston and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with a degree in Creative Writing. I spent my first year out of college working for a professor at the Kelly Writers House where I was involved in fundraising and recruiting prospective students. I also coached Penn's Women's Ice Hockey Team, trained for a road-race in May and worked at a summer camp. In the fall of 2010, I moved back to Massachusetts to pursue a career in farming and education and to spend more time sailing.
Since leaving SEA in 2007, I've daydreamed about being back on the water and despite short trips here and there, I miss those days with no land in sight. The return to SEA for C-230 Plastics was long anticipated and overdue. I had always promised myself I'd come back to SEA and couldn't be prouder or more excited to be able to contribute to such important research.
