Affiliation with SEA Semester is a formal acknowledgement of the fact that our programs align with an institutional mission, offer a complementary academic experience, or satisfy an educational niche not otherwise found at a college or university.
Our goal in affiliation is to better serve each institution and its students. This goal is primarily achieved by the transfer of SEA Semester credit and the facilitation of student interest in SEA Semester. These institutions support student participation in SEA Semester and the SEA Summer Session by offering either direct credit or transfer credit, provided by Boston University. Many of them also allow institutional aid to transfer to lower the program cost for students.
