Hello! My name is Nancy Wendlandt and I’m the Admissions Assistant at SEA Semester. I grew up in a historic village in Connecticut, much like the villages of Cape Cod. As a student at Keene State College and Binghamton University, I worked with at-risk children, and earned a degree in Psychology. I continued this work after college, teaching in alternative schools and grant programs.
During the summer in CT, I co-founded a community theater for young adults, in which we produced Broadway shows, such as West Side Story and Grease. This is the age to follow your passion and to discover just what you are capable of, and that is why I find SEA so vital and dynamic in the lives of our students. I spent one of my young summers as a nanny on the island of Martha’s Vineyard and fell in love with this area. My travels eventually took me to Vermont, where I lived for 20 years and raised my children. After working as an Administrative Assistant at Dartmouth College, I decided to return to the shore that I love.
As SEA’s Administrative Assistant for Admissions, I help coordinate student applications, mailings, and database entries. It is a pleasure to work with SEA’s outstanding admissions team, where the dedication to students is inspiring.
