Hello! My name is Katharine Williams Enos and I’m the Dean of Admissions at SEA Semester. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri but grew up mostly in North Carolina. I attended Davidson College where I graduated with a B.A. in History with a minor in Spanish in 2001, and I'm currently pursuing my M.A. in International Education from the School for International Training (SIT).

During college I studied abroad twice: once at Cambridge University in England studying British history; and the other in Sevilla, Spain studying Spanish language and culture. After college, I participated in the JET (Japan Exchange & Teaching) Program. I lived in Iwate-ken, a prefecture in northern Japan, teaching high school English and also teaching American Sign Language at the local school for the deaf. I have worked in international education since 2005 and joined the Admissions Office at SEA Semester in 2008.

In the office, I manage all of our marketing and recruitment initiatives while overseeing the exceptional Admissions staff. I have sailed on our ships with several Colleague Voyages, short programs which allow study abroad advisors & faculty to get a taste of SEA Semester. So although I didn’t do SEA Semester as a student I have become a true believer in the power & wonder of going to sea! Outside of the office I like to travel (I’ve been to 19 countries & am always scheming to get to more), cook, and spend time with my new husband.
