Hi everyone! My name is Bridget McElroy, and I’m one of the SEA Semester Admissions Counselors. I grew up in Maryland in the Washington, DC area and attended college in Vermont. At St. Michael’s College, I studied Economics and Psychology. I had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad with SEA Semester my junior year in Spring 2016, when I sailed to New Zealand on the SSV Robert C. Seamans with the Global Ocean program. SEA Semester provided me with an amazing, field-based experiential learning opportunity on the open ocean. It re-ignited my interest in science and gave me a wonderful introduction to sailing. I’m so happy to be able to share my love of SEA Semester with prospective students as they search for the program that aligns most with their interests!

In my free time, I enjoy participating in any activity involving water. I also love spending time with kids, playing games with friends and family, and being outside.
