A veteran Chief Boatswains Mate in the United States Coast Guard, Tom has seen many different aspects of the professional maritime world. Tours as varied in the Coast Guard as being an Officer of the Deck on the USCG Barque EAGLE "America's Tall Ship" to being the Senior Inspector of Personnel at Regional Examination Center New York to scraping barnacles off buoys and servicing lighthouses.
That broad range of experiences is what brought him to SEA, a program where his love of the sea can be shared with others.
