Research Areas & Interests:

As the former Director of Conservation at the New England Aquarium and Director of Fisheries Leadership and Sustainability at Stanford University, Dr. Jeans has focused her research and interests on promoting science, policy, and market solutions to ocean conservation challenges; the Phoenix Islands Protected Area (PIPA); sustainable seafood programs; and marine wildlife conservation.
